Industrial Design

Industrial Design builds a better world with meaningful solutions that address human needs and improve the quality of life.
As an Industrial Designer, it is my responsibility to provide a higher standard to those interacting with the products and systems I've designed. My approach to achieving that standard has grown to be holistic in nature. Focusing closely on each problem along the way while also taking the necessary steps back to see the project in its entirety. My goal is not necessarily to solve each and every item uncovered but to better understand the needs associated with the desired experience. I find great joy in applying my skills to provide a valuable experience for others.

What is your most memorable
experience at KCAD?
My most memorable experience at KCAD would have to be spending hours in the woodshop with my fellow classmates working on our final models and prototypes. I got to know many of my classmates and others from outside my program this way.
What are your most
notable accomplishments?
During my time at KCAD, I was able to secure two different internships that exposed me to real experiences and processes of industrial design. It was through these internships that I made the contacts and relationships that would land me my first full-time position as an industrial designer.
